Filmfoundation.info workshop and training sessions will initially focus on newcomers seeking basic knowledge and skills.
Over time, sessions will be added on an advanced level.
In order to cover the costs, all our workshops and training sessions charge a small fee for each applicant.

WORKSHOP MOTION PICTURE CAMERA TECHNIQUE
Comprehensive workshop featuring the following topics:
* detailed insight into the inner workings of the motion picture reflex film camera system
* becoming familiar with key mechanical – and optical components
* diagrams supporting education
* appreciation of a precision instrument
* measuring devices
* developing deductive skills and self-reliance

CLAPPER LOADER TRAINING
Complete – and detailed training teaching you the exact guidelines to craftsmanship.
Included in the teaching program is an extensive explanation - and motivated instructions on the following topics:
* using the film changing tent / loading and unloading film stock / cleanliness
* using the clapper board 
* the logistics of handling film stock / being accountable
* administrative duties / filling in report sheets
* making the most of being 2nd camera-assistant

WORKSHOP FOCUS PULLER FOR FILM
Please note: this training is only held in combination with the workshop Motion Picture Film Camera.
A highly rewarding, 2-day investment.
Craft on the basis of true knowledge.
* complete explanation – and clear instructions regarding camera testing protocol (+ document)
* shooting camera tests hands-on (16mm and 35 mm)
* assessing the outcome of the camera test / being responsible and accountable
* pulling focus for film / building confidence and working partnership with camera operator
